Three Township Trustees and the Township Clerk are elected to serve the interests of the community and work to provide the services required by Ohio law. Madison Township provides Fire Prevention, Protection, and Emergency Medical Services to all of the unincorporated areas of the Township as well as to the Villages of Groveport and Canal Winchester and portions of Obetz, Lithopolis, and Pickerington. The Madison Township Police Department is committed to serving and protecting the unincorporated areas of the Township. Patrol officers and community-policing officers can be found in all parts of the community on a daily basis. The Madison Township Road Department provides road maintenance and repair to the township roads and public storm water systems. These dedicated men are the ones found plowing snow in the winter and paving and sweeping streets in the summer.
