Judy Edwards

 

  Judy Edwards was appointed Township Administrator for Madison Township on May 5, 2008.  Judy is a native of Franklin County, Ohio.  She received a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from The Ohio State University, a Master of Science in City & Regional Planning from Clemson University, and a Juris Doctor from the University of Dayton School of Law.  Judy was admitted to the Ohio Bar in May 1997 and to the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio in June 1997.

  Judy’s prior government experiences include serving as an Assistant Ohio Attorney General, Assistant Chief Counsel for the Ohio Department of Development, Assistant Licking County Prosecutor, Judicial Law Clerk, and City Planner.  She also gained internship experiences with the Franklin County Prosecutor’s Office, the City of Charleston, SC, Boulder County, CO, and Pinellas County, FL.  Prior to returning to government service, Judy engaged in the private practice of law for nearly five years in the areas of employment, planning & zoning, real estate, and local government law.
