On March 2, 2009, Larry Flowers of Canal Winchester returned to work for Madison Township as the Interim Administrator.  On July 25 2009 Flowers was hired as the townships Fulltime Administrator.

Larry is a 30 year resident of Canal Winchester and Madison Township.

He retired from Madison Township Fire Department in July 2000 after 30 years in the Fire/EMS services, including 22 years as Fire Chief.

Larry served eight years in the Ohio Legislative, and was the Majority Leader in the House of Representatives, but was forced out by term limits.

Larry and Patty have two grown daughters, who they like to visit in Chicago and San Diego.

Flowers says “I’m excited to be back at Madison Township and serving at the local government level.”
