Because
the
Christmas
holiday
and New
Year’s
Day both
fall on
Sunday
this
year,
Waste
Management
customers
will
have
their
normal
collection
schedule
for both
the week
of
December
25 and
the week
of
January
1.
All
Waste
Management
customers
are
reminded
to put
their
waste
out the
night
before
or by 6
a.m. on
their
regular
collection
day. If
customers
have any
questions,
they can

Yard
waste
season
once
again is
upon us
and
Waste
Management
would
like to
give
some
helpful
hints in
preparing
your
yard
waste
for
collection.
Tips
that
meets
Waste
Management
guidelines
as well
being
compliant
with
Kurtz
Bros.
requirements.
Waste Management & Kurtz Bros. will accept all forms of yard waste such
as brush
and tree
branches
(cut in
4 ft.
lengths
or less,
bundled
with
approved
material
and less
than 50
lbs.).
Leaves,
grass,
sod and
mulch
(placed
in cans
(clearly
marked
yard
waste),
50 lbs
or less
or in
paper
yard
waste
bags
(again,
50 lbs
or less)
placed
opposite
(preferably
opposite
side of
driveway)
of the
trash
and
recycle.
Yard
Waste in
plastic
bags or
bundled
with
non-biodegradable
material
will not
be
collected
due to
recycle
facility
(Kurtz
Bros.)
requirements.
