Chief Greg Ryan and the members of the department responded to
22,801 calls for service in 2008. The department issued 2,413
traffic violations, investigated 199 traffic accidents, arrested
384 adults and 72 juveniles, and took 1,331 reports.
In 2008 the department impounded 205 vehicles – 39 of
which have never been claimed.
The department answered 101 requests for mutual aid from other
departments and had a total of 64 OVI arrests in 2008.
