Part-Time Firefighter

Madison Township Fire Department has a continuous open application period for part-time employment. This application can be submitted in person, by mail, or by emailing Assistant Chief Adams at cadams@madisontownship.org.

All applications must be returned with the following:

  • Copy of valid driver's license

  • Copy of Firefighter II certification

  • Copy of EMT-B or EMT-P paramedic certification (all EMT-B’s must be enrolled in paramedic program within 12 months of hire)

  • BCI background check from County of residence

  • State of Ohio Driver's abstract

All applications submitted are valid for up to one (1) year after submission. All applications dated over one (1) year are not valid and will not be considered for review. All applications that were submitted on June 30th, 2021, or prior are valid for one year from the time of submission. For example, an application submitted on November 15, 2020, would be valid until November 15, 2021.
