Fire Services

Blood Pressure Checks: In the past, residents have been invited to come to the firehouse during normal business hours and have their vital signs (pulse, blood pressure and respirations) recorded. This is not offered at this time to prevent the spread of COVID-19. However, the department hosts blood pressure checks on a regular basis as listed below.

  • 1st and 3rd Thursday at the Groveport Recreation Center 9:00 am - 11:00 am

  • 2nd Thursday Groveport Senior Center 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

CO Detector Checks: If you suspect your carbon monoxide detector is malfunctioning call 911.  The dispatcher will send the appropriate units to ensure your safety.

Fire Station Tours: Your local fire station is open for tours, as long as the personnel are not out on an emergency run. Groups larger than 5 total people need to call the main office during business hours to schedule a tour. The office can be reached at (614) 837-7883.

Smoke Detectors: If you are a resident of Madison Township and you are in need of a smoke detector you can call the station during normal business hours and arrange to have a free detector installed in your home.
