The current contract went into effect March 1, 2019, with Volunteer Energy Services of Ohio and is good for 33 months.

There are NO fees to join and NO fees to switch.

Eligible residents receive a fixed rate of .0494/kwh (old contract rate was .0565/kwh)

Budget billing is available. Call AEP at 1-800-672-2231.

Be aware of door to door and phone solicitors! Ask the following questions before you make a decision:

  1. What is the fee to cancel a contract with them?
  2. How long is the quoted rate good for?
  3. How long is the contract period you are required to sign?
  4. Is the rate fixed or variable?
  5. Is budget billing available on the "entire" bill?
  6. What is the name of the supplier?

Gas Aggregation Program

The current contract went into effect December 1, 2017, with Volunteer Energy Services of Ohio and will expire November 30, 2019. The current rate is .4241/Ccf

**New contract information:** (Adopted by the Board of Trustees September 2019)

The contract will go in effect December 1, 2019, and will be good for 24 months with a fixed rate of .3749/Ccf

There are NO fees to join and NO fees to switch.

Budget Billing is available. Call Columbia Gas at 1-800-344-4077.

Things to know for the new gas contract:

  1. Eligible resident and businesses will receive "Opt-Out" information in Early November.
  2. To participate in the program, no action is required from you.
  3. If you do not wish to participate, complete and return the "Opt-Out" form.
  4. After the "Opt-Out" deadline, you will receive a letter from Columbia Gas. This is another step in the process to be sure no one else is changing your service supplier.
